Durban: Technical Manager

Education: B.Sc M.Sc in Microbiology / Biochemistry. Experience: At least 5 years of process and quality experience within food production environments. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Tempo, DMS, Syspro, Opsuite. Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant processes and quality systems. Additional: Ability to make critical decisions regarding process integrity, product release, and implementation of improvement projects Communication between production manager and production team for better quality/output and improvements. o Maintain open and collaborative communication with Production, Technical, Engineering, Projects, Distribution, and Sales. Provide technical advice and solutions to the Production Manager. Notify BSBU and CBU of potential changes/issues related to raw materials or processes. Facilitate sourcing and transfer of technical knowledge across the company. Interaction and Communication within the companys business units for development of stronger relationships.
