Key Responsibilities
– Develop and calibrate credit risk models, including IFRS 9 and Basel-related frameworks.
– Conduct model validation, testing, and performance monitoring.
– Analyse and benchmark credit portfolios to identify key trends and opportunities.
– Collaborate with clients to design data-driven credit and collections strategies.
– Draft and deliver reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
– Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team.
Job Experience and Skills Required
– Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
– 3–5 years’ experience in credit risk modelling or financial services consulting.
– Hands-on experience with predictive modelling, model validation, and portfolio analytics.
– Knowledge of Basel, IFRS 9, and credit lifecycle management.
– Proficiency in SAS, R, Python, and Excel.
– Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
– A problem-solver with a strong technical foundation and business acumen.
