Job Description
Responsible for managing the sales strategy, planning, developing, implementing and innovating for the hotel. A customer-obsessed mindset is key to deliver customer-target strategies built on insights, experience, and collaboration.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximise profitability.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the hotel’s client base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about trends and identify growth areas.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and presentations.
Negotiate pricing and terms of agreements with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
Stay updated on products, services, and offerings to communicate effectively with clients.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Bachelor’s degree in Business
At least 4+ years sales experience in the Hospitality industry.
Proven history of success in sales, preferably in hospitality or luxury lifestyle.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
Valid driving licence.
Good verbal and written communication skills
