About the Role

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for solar PV projects (C&I) within our company. This role requires a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, global supplier markets, and contract negotiation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for solar PV projects (C&I)
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and BOS components
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality, and compliance
  • Lead tendering and contract negotiation processes
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks within the renewable energy sector
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
  • Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics
  • Manage logistics coordination, import/export processes, and inventory planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in solar or renewable energy procurement
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV components and global supplier markets
