• Oversee financial reporting, month-end close and audit readiness
• Drive IFRS 9 & IFRS 17 application, interpretation and governance
• Analyse financial performance of individual business units and consolidate results across the group structure
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis process
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide commercial insights and strategic recommendations
• Maintain robust financial controls, regulatory compliance and risk frameworks

 
Job Experience & Skills Required):

• CIMA or SAIPA qualified (essential)
• Minimum 4 years managerial experience
• Background within the insurance / financial services sector
• Hands-on experience with IFRS 9 & IFRS 17
• Proven multi-entity / group reporting exposure.
