South Africa: Maintenance Technician – Folding Cartons (Jordan, Middle East) posted by Ultra Personnel

Responsible for maintaining and repairing the machinery used in producing paperboard packaging.

Expats are welcome to apply.  The hiring company will pay for flights and visas.

Develop and execute Preventative Maintenance plans for all assets
Conduct necessary troubleshooting and repairs to Offset, finishing and ancillary assets
Engage with equipment manufacturers to ensure equipment are operating effectively
Ensure operator-based maintenance is performed to required standards and provide training and coaching where necessary
Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic faults 
Train, coach and develop operators and teams where possible  
Strong knowledge of Offset processes, finishing equipment and techniques 
Must be able to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings and schematics for equipment
Be able to utilize diagnostic equipment and power tools correctly and safely
Provide technical support to improve quality and effectiveness
Ability to communicate fluently in English

Electromechanical Technical Trade Qualification
Printing or carton making qualification would be an advantage

7-10yrs experience in repairing, maintaining and installing offset printing equipment
At least 5yrs experience in maintaining finishing equipment 
Formal training from Equipment manufacturers (KBA, Bobst, Heidelberg, Komori)
