• Create and develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design and optimise mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Perform design calculations and simulations to validate concepts.
• Support prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation and bill of materials (BOM).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven working experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Experience with design analysis, FEA, and simulation tools will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of engineering principles, tolerances, and GD&T.
