General Manager | Luxury Tented Safari Camp | Tanzania Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and inspiring General Manager for a luxury tented safari camp in Tanzania. This live-in position offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated hospitality professional to manage a world-class safari experience in one of Africa’s most iconic destinations. Requirements: · Minimum of 10 years’ management experience within a 5-star hospitality environment. · Relevant Hotel Management qualification or equivalent. · Proven experience managing a luxury safari or lodge operation with over 20 beds. · At least five years’ management experience in East Africa. · Strong financial and operational management skills, including budgeting, CAPEX planning, and cost control. · Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Strategic thinker with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. · Energetic, proactive, and service-driven with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. · Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop diverse teams. · Knowledge of sustainable tourism practices, community engagement, and conservation initiatives. · Valid driver’s licence. · Strong computer literacy and proficiency in financial systems.
