Duty Manager Luxury Lodge | Ceres, Western Cape
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and experienced Duty Manager to join a luxury lodge in Ceres, Western Cape. This live-in role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth running of the lodge.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all daily lodge operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, and guest services

Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism

Handle guest enquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the property

Assist in managing bookings, reservations, and scheduling to optimise operational efficiency

Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships

Support management in implementing operational policies, procedures, and quality standards

Resolve operational challenges with a calm and proactive approach, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction
Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within luxury hospitality

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards

Commercial awareness with experience in cost control and operational management

Willingness to live and work in a remote lodge environment
