Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Restaurant Manager to join a luxury lodge in Ceres, Western Cape. This live-in role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing restaurant team and deliver exceptional dining experiences in a prestigious hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and presentation

Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to provide exceptional guest experiences

Manage reservations, seating, and service flow to optimise efficiency and guest satisfaction

Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and front of house

Monitor stock levels, control costs, and liaise with suppliers to maintain profitability

Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations

Handle guest feedback and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally

Drive initiatives to enhance guest experience and promote repeat business
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior front-of-house role within a luxury hospitality environment

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Ability to maintain high standards under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Commercially aware with experience in budget management and cost control

Professional, proactive, and guest-focused approach
