Job description

Leading the annual budget preparation process and monitoring performance against budget.

Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.

Producing rolling forecasts, cashflow projections, and variance analysis.

Overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts.

Providing financial analysis to support pricing decisions, capital investment, and cost reduction initiatives.

Providing financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives.

Ensuring compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Managing day-to-day cashflow, banking, and treasury functions.

Qualification & Skills

Accounting honours level qualification (BCom Hons / CIMA).

57 years experience in finance roles

Minimum 2 years in a controller position

Strong understanding of cost accounting, stock control, and margin analysis

Strong technical accounting skills, including IFRS.

Good understanding of SA tax laws.

Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred

Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
