Job Description
- Source new tenants through networking, cold calling, broker engagement and advertising.
- Negotiate and conclude lease agreements aligned to rental targets and tenant mix strategies.
- Implement marketing campaigns to promote vacancies and development opportunities.
- Conduct market research (competitor analysis, trends, rentals, supply/demand).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, tenants and property professionals.
- Manage leasing administration, including FICA, documentation, proposals and MDA updates.
- Prepare weekly leasing reports and assist with vacancy forecasts and budgets.
- Provide regular feedback and reporting to senior management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in commercial leasing, property management or related real estate field.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deals and meet targets.
- Market knowledge of the commercial property sector.
- Experience with MDA or similar property management systems (advantageous).
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (role is largely on-the-road).
- Willing to travel to surrounding provinces when necessary
