Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Restaurant Manager Luxury Game Lodge, Limpopo Requirements · Grade 12 · Hospitality management or any equivalent qualification. · 3 – 5 years’ experience in a management role as a restaurant manager / or similar · Micros System Experience required. · Polite, friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feet. · Hospitality experience would be an added advantage. · Knowledge for Alcohol, beverages and food knowledge · Proficiency in computers and some background in Operating systems · Computer experience (MS Office) · Planning skills & Accuracy · Problem solving & analytical skills · Financial management · Strong leadership and excellent communication skills · Ability to handle pressure · Self-reliant and responsible · Well-spoken and presentable · Service orientation with excellent people skills · Good time management skills & punctuality · Attention to detail Responsibilities · Manage the entire service operation · Create and maintain relationships with guests in the restaurant · Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints and regularly review product quality and research new suppliers. · Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. · Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it while controlling operational costs and identify measures to cut waste. · Daily meetings and handovers with staff rostering · Maintain and achieve restaurant targets · Willing to help waiter staff where needed · Ensure that standards are always maintained in the restaurant. · Ensure the highest hygiene standards in relation to service delivery and consistently make sure that buffet is cleared within prescribed time after service closure. · Do monthly stocktakes Package on Offer · Salary – R 15 000 – R 18 000 pm DOE · Live in Starting date: Immediately
