South Africa: Raw Material Supply Chain Specialist

Raw Material Supply Chain Specialist Location: Durban Reporting to: Commercial Manager Key Responsibilities: Manage all inbound raw materials, bulk liquids, and inventory movements. Oversee stock control processes, including weekly and monthly reconciliations, surprise counts, and variance reporting. Ensure compliance. Maintain supplier and product files, including quality certifications and specifications. Run and manage plans, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries. Handle waste management processes and oversee warehouse equipment maintenance. Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to resolve quality, scheduling, and stock-related issues. Requirements: BCom Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Must hold a Degree. Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain and/or warehousing, preferably in FMCG. Strong ERP skills – specifically Syspro. Strong stock control and inventory management experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
