Job Description
Core Criteria:
- Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent
- FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) guiding qualification.
- DEAT registration.
- Valid PDP
- Valid First Aid certification
- Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
- Solid knowledge of lodge management, guest services, HR, administration, guiding, maintenance, and gardens
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problemsolving abilities under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with guests, staff, and stakeholders
- Technical proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Independent, flexible, and able to work extended or irregular hours.
Role 1:
- Coordinating guest checkins and checkouts efficiently.
- Creating a welcoming environment and addressing guest concerns.
- Maintaining high standards across lodge operations.
- Managing housekeeping staff and arranging relief when needed.
- Preparing and submitting monthend reports.
- Managing payroll submissions.
- Ordering and controlling stock, consumables, and lodge assets.
- Overseeing HR, administration, and frontofhouse functions.
Role 2:
- Conduct daily game drives
- Hosting guests and sharing knowledge of the reserve and wildlife.
- Managing gardens, lodge upkeep, and general maintenance.
- Supervising staff across maintenance and grounds.
- Ensuring safety standards
Work cycle of 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off
