Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inspection:
Supervise the receipt of goods, ensuring they match purchase orders and delivery notes.
Inspect incoming stock for quality, quantity, and damage.
Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to management promptly.

Stock Management:
Ensure accurate recording and labelling of stock in the warehouse system.
Maintain organized and efficient storage of products.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excesses to relevant departments.

Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Coordination & Reporting:
Prepare daily/weekly receiving reports.
Assist in resolving issues with suppliers or logistics partners.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve receiving processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
Implement and monitor best practices within the department.

Requirements:

Minimum Matric/Grade 12

Logistics or supply chain qualification is an advantage.

23 years of experience in warehouse receiving or logistics supervision

Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Basic computer literacy (MS Office, inventory systems).

Must be criminally clear.
