Lephalale: Waiter

Qualifications & Experience Matric (Grade 12) preferred. Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, lodge, or café (advantageous). Basic knowledge of food and beverage service. POS system experience is beneficial. Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Good memory and attention to detail. Ability to upsell menu items effectively. Team player with a positive attitude. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Professional appearance and grooming. Ability to handle pressure and busy service periods. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Ability to carry trays, plates, and drinks safely. Stamina to work long shifts, including evenings and weekends. Working Conditions Shifts may include weekends, evenings, public holidays, and split shifts. Work environment includes restaurants, hotels, lodges, bars, or events/banqueting settings.
