Lichtenburg: Mechanical Engineering Graduate: Mining

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and improvement of mechanical systems across a range of projects. You will work closely with Senior Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and assemblies Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and technical analysis Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities Prepare technical drawings, documentation, and reports Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and project planning Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures Contribute fresh ideas to improve product performance and efficiency Requirements: Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, thermodynamics, and mechanics Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar) Good analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Internship or project experience is advantageous but not essential This position is based at a Cement Mine in Lichtenburg.
