About the Role
The Sales Engineer role is a critical component of our sales team, responsible for driving business growth and delivering technical solutions to clients across Gauteng. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team, leveraging their technical expertise and sales acumen to drive revenue and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients within Gauteng
- Identify customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients
- Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution delivery
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms in line with company objectives
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
- Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a Sales Engineer or technical sales role
- Must be based in Gauteng
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to translate concepts into customer-focused solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities
