About the Role
A leading industrial technology and automation solutions provider is seeking a dynamic International E-Commerce & B2B Marketplace Sales Specialist to drive global online product sales. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of international online marketplaces and proven experience scaling product sales across platforms such as Amazon, Alibaba, and similar B2B/E-commerce channels.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end online sales operations, expanding international customer reach, and optimizing product visibility and revenue through global digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow international online sales across global e-commerce and B2B marketplace platforms.
- Drive product listings, optimization, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to increase global market penetration.
- Identify new online sales opportunities and emerging international markets.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and negotiations with international buyers.
- Monitor marketplace performance metrics and implement strategies for conversion and sales growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, technical) to ensure accurate product information and efficient order fulfillment.
- Stay updated on global e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and platform policies.
- Prepare sales reports and performance insights for management.
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience in international online marketplace sales.
- Proven track record selling products through platforms such as Amazon, Alibaba, eBay, or other global B2B/E-commerce channels.
- Strong understanding of digital sales strategies, product listing optimization, and online customer engagement.
- Experience dealing with international customers and cross-border sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be office-based in Kya Sand, Randburg.
