Job title: Dispatcher Business Unit: Europcar Reports to: Operations Manager Based at/in: Cape Town Depot Position overall objective: The purpose of the position is to dispatch the correct vehicles from the depot to the relevant rental location timeously and in accordance with business requirements. Reason for Vacancy: Replacement Minimum Experience 3 years of car rental, logistics or fleet management experience Minimum Qualification Grade 12/ Senior Certificate Minimum Requirements Valid unendorsed drivers license Computer Literate (proficiency required in Excel & Outlook) Essential to note: The appointed person will be required to work day/night shifts. Job Outputs Manage and improve effective and efficient vehicle turnaround Ensure that company assets and resources are safeguarded at all times. Manage movements / capturing of all movements Allocate vehicles according to correct locations Assist in Supervise the day-to-day vehicle operation/flow of the depot. Quality Control Fleet checks as required.
