A highly respected mining company based in Northern Cape is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join their dynamic team Experience Required: · Minimum of 5 years experience as a safety officer within a Mining Environment. · Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) methodology. · In depth knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996), Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and other related legislation. · Knowledge of ISO standards i.e. ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Requirements: · National Senior Certificate. · Degree or National Diploma in Safety Management. · SAMTRAC or COMSOC 1 & 2 certificates. · Blasting ticket or valid trade test will be advantageous.
