About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The client has successfully developed and deployed mobile-grade carrier platforms and digital technologies & services into multiple network operators and retail segments in South Africa and Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and collaboration
- Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans
- Manage project scope and deliverables
- Track project progress and performance
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to project specifications and requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies
- Mentor and coach team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role
- More than 5 years of experience in the technical/digital space
- Strong technical background with experience in software development or IT projects
- Technically strong with the ability to translate client business requirements into technical specification requirements for in-house developers
