A boutique hospitality group, located in the City of Cape Town, is seeking to appoint an on-site role Group Assistant Finance Manager. The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, handling audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Other day-to-day tasks may include financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting, as well as supporting senior finance management in strategic financial planning. Oversee bookkeeper in ensuring that tasks and deadlines are met and that transactions are always recorded accurately. Qualifications Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and financial reporting Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and financial planning Excellent organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools (Xero / Dext / Payspace Advantage) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Xero and Dext experience advantageous Previous experience as AFM in Hotel/s essential Work Experience : 5-10 years
