Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fully qualified BCom Accountant with post grad qualifications
• Stay aligned with IFRS updates and implement changes
• Monitor financial impacts of operations and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with stakeholders on accounting guidelines
• Approve and release journals for allocated Ledger areas
• Provide monthly accounting governance
• Support timely reporting of Regional company and Branch
• Monitor ledger account reconciliations
• Perform quarterly Balance Sheet reviews
• Implement changes to IFRS and local guidelines
• Complete projects on financial process improvements

External and Internal Contacts:

• Internal: Accounting teams, Business unit Commercials, global Accounting Service Centres
• External: Auditors, Banks, Service Providers

What You Bring:

• 3-5+ years relevant experience
• BCom Accounting, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
• Excellent working knowledge of SAP and IFRS
• Ability to analyse processes and improve efficiency
• Strong drive for self-development and challenging tasks
• Ability to work in a team and meet reporting deadlines
