Location: Office-based, Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: TBC
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing full-function accounting: financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, and cash flow.
- Overseeing stock control and ensuring accurate audits and reconciliations.
- Handling HR and payroll: from monthly processing to compliance with labor laws.
- Preparing and submitting all SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, Income Tax) and liaising with SARS when needed.
- Ensuring CIPC compliance with annual returns and statutory recordkeeping.
- Leading and mentoring the finance and admin team while driving performance and growth.
- Improving and digitizing processes and systems to create efficiencies.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Professional Accountant (SAIPA) with completed SAIPA articles.
- BCom Accounting or related degree.
- At least 10 years’ experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a small to medium team.
- Strong knowledge of Pastel, Excel, and South African tax compliance.
- Organized, analytical, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Own reliable transport and able to work full-time, on-site.
