CNC Machinist required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha , Eastern Cape

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of CNC Machines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Technical drawing software packages, e.g. Mastercam, viscam , AutoCAD, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Grinders, lathes & milling machines
• Experience on Fanuc controls (milling machines)
• Master cam experience is essential (Min. 3 years)
• Min. 3 years experience operating CNC milling machines
• Must be able to use the basic measuring interments (i.e. Vernier, micrometre, dial indicator)
• Must understand and be able to read engineering drawings
• Basic understanding of GD&T
• Programming G- code & Mastercam

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC Milling machines and Wire cutter to manufacture components
• Develop Prototypes, verify tests/trials and Manufacture tools to required specifications.
• Solves problems and suggests solutions to machining
• Perform any other assigned reasonable duties
• Machine Uptime: Maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
• Programming Efficiency: Optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle times and improve productivity.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues with CNC machines and programs.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a clean and organised workspace
