Trails Guide KZN Wilderness Reserve | R15 000 to R18 000 | Live In Full Trails Qualification Required Are you a nature loving, people focused guide who lives for the bush and thrives on creating unforgettable guest moments? This gorgeous reserve in KwaZulu Natal is looking for a confident, passionate Trails Guide to join their guiding family. If you love wide open spaces, conservation work and being part of a tight knit team, this one will feel like home What you will be doing • Guiding guests on immersive bush walks and game drives • Creating personalised wildlife experiences for every guest • Sharing knowledge of the diverse fauna and flora with warmth and confidence • Keeping communication clear with lodge management and front of house • Supporting conservation and research projects on the reserve • Maintaining vehicles, equipment and trails to top standards • Ensuring guest, staff and wildlife safety at all times • Contributing to the guiding team with positivity and teamwork • Assisting with lodge admin when needed • Continuously growing your guiding skills and knowledge What makes you perfect for this role • A natural host with great communication skills • Calm, attentive and well organised • Strong situational awareness with the ability to act quickly when needed • Works well under pressure and enjoys variety • Respectful, professional and passionate about conservation • Comfortable living in a remote environment and managing yourself independently What you need to have • Minimum 5 years guiding experience • Full Trails qualification • FGASA Level 1 / Cathsseta NQF Level 2 • 4×4 driving experience • Valid PDP • First Aid Level 1 or Wilderness First Aid • Registered Tour Guide with NDT • Computer literacy • A tertiary qualification in natural sciences will earn you bonus points If you are ready to lace up your boots, breathe in that fresh KZN air and lead meaningful wilderness experiences, I would love to hear from you
