Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our client’s team in the construction industry. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in conducting accurate surveys to ensure project accuracy and compliance. You will be responsible for measuring and mapping construction sites, as well as providing data and reports to project managers and engineers.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries and establish legal boundaries
• Measure and map construction sites using surveying instruments and equipment
• Collect and analyze survey data
• Prepare accurate reports for project managers and engineers
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project accuracy
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
• Supervise and train junior surveyors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 2-3 years applicable experience in civil services and infrastructure
• Measurable knowledge with regards to SABS 1200
• Proficient in using surveying instruments and equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
