About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman / Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive site experience in pipework and road construction, complemented by a strong background in surveying. This role demands a team player who can excel in a high-pressure environment, maintaining high attention to detail and ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct accurate surveying to inform project planning and execution.
- Coordinate and oversee pipework installations including sewer, water, and stormwater systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Resolve any on-site issues promptly to minimize project delays.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in construction with a focus on pipework and road construction.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, with a preference for candidates with a background in surveying.
- Proficient in field surveying techniques and equipment.
