Job Description:

Preparing and submitting tax returns and VAT submission for all operations

Cash flow management, forecasting and review reports from divisions

Inventory Management; Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management

Budgeting and forecasting and preparing budgets for board purposes.

Overseeing finances and ensuring all reporting done in line with company policies.

Implementation and standardization of financial controls across all operations and projects

Liaising closely with all stakeholders to ensure their requirements are understood and met from a finance perspective.

Ensuring and reviewing sales transactions on a monthly

Monitoring and managing banking expenses including bank charges, commitment fees, facility fees

Planning and coordinating year-end financial audit.

Reviewing VAT submission documents, reconciliation of GP reports to Omni, General ledger reconciliations.

Preparing quarterly results and submitting quarterly pack, including quarterly forecasts, to Exco for board presentation purposes.

Drafting and preparing monthly packs using BI Tools

Supporting and driving the business’ core values and strategy especially in relation to trading

Risk Management and compliance

Qualification & Skills

Chartered Accountant (preferred)

Completed Bachelor of Commerce Degree (non-negotiable)

Articled SAIPA/ SAICA (non-negotiable)

Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role

Must have experience using systems (CaseWare, Evolution, Syspro, SAP) and System implementation (ERP)

Must have experience in Manufacturing, Freight & logistics, Trading environment advantageous.

Must have experience with finance instruments like hedging and forward cover, Bank negotiations,

Must have experience with Forex accounting experience, M&A due diligence, funding models, Cash reserves max revenue opportunities and other forex trading experiences

Must have experience with raising finance Capex, Ops funding requirements

Must have tax, SARS, management accounts and audit experience

Qualifications & Sills

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis

Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners

Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills

Knowledge of financial reporting

Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
