Mining-services group on the East Rand seeks a seasoned, objective, and process-driven HR professional to own recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and daily HR operations. Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a senior generalist role requiring maturity, absolute discretion, and the ability to handle staff queries calmly and impartially while always acting in the companys best interest. Full-cycle recruitment for artisans, drivers, technical, specialist, and management roles (LinkedIn, PNet, networking) End-to-end onboarding (contracts, PPE, relocations, laptop/email setup, DMRE compliance) Intern & apprentice administration and compliance Salary/wage benchmarking and drafting increase motivations First point of contact for all employee queries; fair and objective investigation and resolution CCMA case management and liaison with external labour lawyers Internal communication, wellness days, and staff event coordination Accurate HR data maintenance and reporting 8 years hands-on HR generalist experience (mining, engineering or heavy industry preferred) Proven ability to stay neutral, discreet, and firmly aligned with company objectives Solid working knowledge of BCEA, LRA, CCMA processes, and DMRE requirements Advanced Excel and strong administrative discipline Calm, professional communication style listens well but enforces policy without hesitation Own reliable transport and live on the East Rand or within easy commuting distance (Benoni, Boksburg, Kempton Park, Brakpan areas preferred) High-trust, high-impact position for a mature professional who gets satisfaction from tight processes, accurate data, and decisive, fair people decisions.
