Durban: Procurement Supervisor posted by Isilumko Staffing

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, or Purchasing (NQF 6)
• Experience: 5 years in procurement
• Systems: ERP systems (Oracle, SAP), iProcurement/RFQ
• Knowledge: PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE, Treasury Regulations

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage RFQ/tender processes to meet business needs.
2. Ensure timely delivery of goods per specifications and policies.
3. Source suppliers in line with PFMA and PPPFA.
4. Approve orders within delegated authority.
5. Monitor and close open orders in the system.
6. Compile monthly reports (e.g., CAPEX, supplier performance).
7. Train and support procurement staff.
8. Advise regional staff on procurement policies and regulations.
9. Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
10. Develop and manage staff performance and skills.
11. Support Procurement Operations Manager with tasks/projects.
12. Oversee capital expenditure and sourcing in the region.
