Western Cape: Millwright posted by Communicate Finance

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Diagnose faults and conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machinery performance
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and hydraulics
• Ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to work independently and travel when required

Requirements:

• Recognized Millwright Trade Certificate (Red Seal highly advantageous)
• Valid driver’s license
