Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a talented and experienced Power BI / Data Analyst to join their data analytics team in Johannesburg, GP. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide valuable business insights to our stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex business data from various sources
• Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights
• Develop data models, measures, and calculations to support reporting and analytics
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using Power Query
• Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting requirements and KPIs
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionality and best practices
• Monitor data quality and integrity, and implement strategies to improve data reliability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, techniques, and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data visualization
• Proficient in DAX, M-language, and Power Query
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and BI Architectures
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, and data manipulation
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus
