About the Role

As an Asset and Fleet Manager at People Dimension, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our company’s fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Being in control of management and maintenance of the company’s fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Daily route planning, taking time and distance into consideration.
• Developing and implementing asset management strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Monitoring fuel and sundries consumption.
• Ensuring that all maintenance checks and services are booked and carried out.
• Monitoring and analyzing fleet performance metrics and implementing improvements as needed.
• Managing vendor relationships for vehicle procurement, maintenance, and repair services.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Handling all incidents, accidents, and theft cases.
• Preparing and managing the budget for fleet operations and asset management.
• Managing and booking small plant (e.g. wackers, generators).
• Conducting regular audits and assessments of fleet and asset performance.
• Conducting monthly inspections on all fleet to prevent careless use of equipment.
• Producing monthly reports of plant and plant status to management.
• Handling all logbooks and feedback to management.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in the field.
• Buildsmart System experience for at least 3-5 years minimum.
• Proven experience in asset and fleet management, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional knowledge in the mechanical and practical working of Plant, Trucks, LDVs, and other vehicles.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in fleet management software and tools.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
