A leading mid-tier mining company is currently looking for a ?????????? ???????? to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng!

Responsibilities:
Mechanical engineering design may include, but is not limited to:

• Prepare plant layouts
• Conveyor design
• Chute design
• Selecting suitable materials handling equipment
• Design of structures and mechanical equipment in the mining industry
• Hydraulic/Pneumatic design will be an advantage
• Transform concepts into working designs
• Oversee site installations
• Commissioning of new installations
• Attend site meetings to understand system requirements
• Manage and co-ordinate contract draughtsmen and engineering consultants
• Make sure quality and safety standards are adhered to and integrated into the design

Requirements:

• BEng/BSc Degree in Mechanical engineering
• 7 years experience in materials handling & mechanical design in an engineering projects environment
• Experience laying out processing plants
• Experience in structural and mechanical design
• Experience in design with CAD software (3 years) (SolidWorks)
