De Aar: Site Agent/Construction Manager posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolve’s Client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Agent/Construction Manager to join their team in De Aar and in Bethel. As a Site Agent/Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction sites and ensuring all operations are running smoothly.

Contract based: 8-12months

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
• Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Monitor and track project progress, reporting any issues or delays to management
• Manage and mentor construction workers, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Previous experience working as a Site Agent/Construction Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Valid driver’s license
