Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable firm in Cape Town. This role is perfect for those ready to take a leadership position in quantity surveying with a solid background in managing large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire quantity surveying process from inception to completion on multiple projects.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
• Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts with service providers.
• Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters and procurement strategies.
• Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure clear communication and expectations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Mentor and develop junior quantity surveying staff.

Requirements:

• BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Quantity Surveying field.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project management.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
