A reputable electrical automation company is looking for an experienced Component Level & Soldering Technician with strong expertise in board-level repairs, variable speed drives, and detailed fault-finding. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing electronic equipment at component level, working primarily in a workshop environment while interpreting electrical drawings and schematics to diagnose and resolve issues. Responsibilities: Perform fault-finding and carry out component-level repairs on variable speed drives and electronic boards. Conduct board-level and servo drive repairs and record all required information to maintain a historical database. Detect electrical issues, prepare quotations for repairs, and source necessary parts. Maintain accurate time sheets and log labour hours in the job management system. Ensure accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to workflow requirements on all assigned jobs. Requirements: Proven experience as a Component Level & Soldering Technician. Strong experience with variable speed drives. Solid understanding of electrical principles, electronic signals, and the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Extensive soldering and desoldering experience. Detail-oriented, organised, and customer-service driven. Proficiency in English and MS Office.
