We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing IT systems, networks, and servers, with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving Key Responsibilities: Administer, monitor, and maintain company network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, firewalls) Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, etc.) ensuring optimal performance Manage telephony infrastructure and optimize systems for efficiency Monitor systems for performance, reliability, and security, responding proactively to alerts Perform root cause analysis and implement remedial actions for system faults Troubleshoot network and system issues for on-site and remote deployments Implement and manage monitoring tools for preventative maintenance Assist staff with technical support and guidance Develop, document, and enforce policies and procedures for network performance and security Secure server environments and document procedures for compliance Oversee patch management and software licensing budgets Maintain vendor and supplier relations Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices Desired Experience & Qualifications: 3 years experience in system administration or infrastructure support Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls) Experience with Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Active Directory VPN technologies (OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard) Router configuration and setups (MikroTik, routing) Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and configuration Experience with ERP systems Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Advantageous Qualifications & Skills: Degree or Diploma in IT-related field Microsoft certifications Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security, Cisco CCNA, Azure Administrator) Experience with ITSM systems Proficiency with virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, XCP-ng) Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) Microsoft 365 administration (Admin, SharePoint, Exchange) Mimecast administration and configuration How To Apply: Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
