The successful incumbent will be responsible for: Design and develop visual, interactive, and user-friendly web applications, reports, and decision-support systems. Maintain and enhance existing DSS, MIS, information systems, and intranet websites. Develop middleware applications and small-to-medium user-defined tools using agile software engineering principles. Draft manuals, system specifications, and documentation for assigned systems. Serve as custodian of assigned Level 2 systems (software and hardware), ensuring reliability and performance. Lead MIS aspects of plant projects and improvements, aligning with industrial automation standards. Provide technical support, advice, and recommendations to engineers and managers on MIS benefits. Troubleshoot MIS systems daily, implement upgrades, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct plant and departmental MIS inspections, including safety compliance and reporting.
