Our client is a well-established and growing player within the distribution industry, known for operational excellence, strong market presence, and a forward-thinking leadership culture. The business is entering an exciting phase of expansion and requires a hands-on, commercially astute Financial Director to partner with the executive team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Driving financial strategy, planning, and long-term sustainability
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and working capital optimisation
• Providing commercial insights to support operational and strategic decisions
• Overseeing financial reporting, statutory compliance, and governance
• Managing audits, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Leading and developing a high-performing finance team
• Acting as a trusted business partner to executive leadership

Job Experience and Skills Required:).

• Completed BCom Degree (Accounting or similar)
• CA (SA) qualification
• At least 10 years’ post articles experience
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Executive or Financial Director
• Strong background in distribution, logistics, FMCG, wholesale, or similar industries (highly advantageous)
