Our client is looking for an experienced Transmission & Substation Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team. This is a dynamic and technically challenging role focused on the design, development, and delivery of high-voltage transmission systems and substations that form the backbone of energy infrastructure.Minimum Requirements: BSc / BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred). Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng) required or strongly preferred. Postgraduate qualification (MEng / MBA) advantageous.Experience Requirements: 1015+ years experience in transmission and substation engineering. Proven experience with:o HV/EHV transmission lines (132kV 765kV).o Substation design and upgrades (AIS/GIS).o Protection and control systems. Experience in utility, transmission operator, or large EPC environments. Demonstrated leadership in multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Procurement of electrical plant and equipment for large infrastructure projects. Electrical transmission and substation design and construction. HV and EHV transmission systems Commissioning of substations (advantageous). Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and substation design software (CDEGS, ETAP, DIgSILENT).Employment: Permanent with probation Salary: Highly competitive based on experience.
