About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Secretary to join our team in East London. As a key member of the legal support staff, you will provide administrative assistance to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the litigation team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform dictaphone typing and general typing duties accurately and efficiently.
Screen and manage incoming calls and correspondence.
Liaise professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate filing and documentation records.
Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the legal team.

Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Word; basic working knowledge of Excel advantageous.
Experience with GhostPractice accounting system beneficial (training will be provided if necessary).
Prior experience within a legal environment (Magistrates Court, Regional Court, or High Court) will be an advantage.
