About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Enrolled Nurse Assistant to join our team at Complete Healthcare Services in Gauteng. As an Enrolled Nurse Assistant, you will work on a one-to-one basis with patients in the comfort of their homes or in facilities, providing high-quality care and support. Your duties may revolve around caring for patients with tracheostomies connected to ventilators, elderly patients with dementia, quadriplegic patients with PEG tubes, palliative patients at end of life, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing basic care, assisting with personal hygiene (washing, dressing, grooming, feeding, support with moving, toileting)
- Administering medications under supervision of the registered nurse or family
- Documenting patient condition and progress
- Supporting activities of daily living (ADLS) for patients
- Monitoring vital signs of patients and recording
- Doing basic wound care
- Managing feeds of a tracheostomy baby using a feeding pump
- Observing changes in patient conditions and reporting to registered nurses
- Writing reports in good English, assessing sleep routines of patients and discussing with registered nurses
