About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Tour Plan Rate & System Specialist to join a luxury travel agency. This role can be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg and offers flexible working arrangements, including remote, hybrid, or in-office options.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm contract terms, policies, and special offers
- Maintain organised records of contracts, agreements, and updates
- Capture and update supplier rates, terms, product notes, and live availability links in Tour Plan
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of rates and policies
- Support reservations, finance, and other teams with system queries
- Communicate contract changes and updates to the wider team
- Test system upgrades and participate in ad hoc Tour Plan projects
- Oversee product codes setup, reporting parameters, and availability mapping
- Attend supplier product training and internal team meetings
- Train consultants on best practices and efficient use of the system
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Tour Plan Rate & System Specialist role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments
- Strong problem-solving and system troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train colleagues effectively
