Job Description

About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Support Engineer to join their team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical sales support, leading customer and end-client lead generation, and preparing quotations for systems.

Key Responsibilities

Customer and end-client lead generation and administration.
Handling, maintenance, and controlling of all lead inquiries through various communication channels.
Introduction and consultation of new customers about IBC SOLAR, the company, its products, and services.
Technical selling, consultation, and support of customers and respect to the company’s PV products and systems in both commercial and residential markets.
Preparing PV designs in the company’s design software PV Manager for clients and end-clients.
Introduction of results and preparation of end-client quotations for systems.
Active technical and application support of sales staff in the preparation of sales offers in respect of technical and other aspects.
Preparation of quotations, follow-up, product consulting, and order confirmation to clients.
Commencement of technical on-site and telephonic support as well as site visits for assessments or energy audits to prepare a PV design.
Support the Department Manager when implementing new products and services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in the solar field is an asset.
Product experience with Victron, SMA, Fronius, GoodWe, SolarMD, and BYD is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of technical experience in the solar industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Excellent English skills; Afrikaans is an asset.
