About the Role
A prestigious luxury hospitality group is seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Sales Manager to join its growing team in Cape Town. This position plays a key role in driving revenue growth across MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events), Leisure, and Corporate market segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the property as the preferred choice for discerning travellers and event organisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, develop, and maintain relationships with key accounts across multiple segments.
- Achieve sales targets through strategic account management, networking, and prospecting.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share.
- Conduct site inspections, client entertainment, and attend key trade and industry events.
- Collaborate with operations and events teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and market analyses as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ luxury hotel sales experience (ideally 5 star level), with proven success in MICE, leisure, and corporate markets.
- Strong network of local and international travel industry contacts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexible to travel and work outside standard hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Management advantageous.
