About the Role
A leading private healthcare group in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a dedicated Theatre Unit Manager to lead and inspire their perioperative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the theatre unit, ensuring seamless patient flow, and maintaining high standards of surgical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Write reports on patient outcomes and theatre performance metrics
- Lead meetings with the perioperative team to discuss patient care and hospital policies
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Postgraduate Diploma in Operating Theatre
- SANC Registered
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience
Qualifications
- Completed Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Completed Postgraduate Diploma in Operating Theatre
- SANC Registration
